Night-time outdoor gathering on a stone terrace with a city's lights glowing in the dark background. Many devotees sit on the ground and on a stone bench wearing white and orange-saffron shawls. A man in white stands at the back holding a video camera on his shoulder. A woman in white stands at the right edge beside a seated man in orange clothing and a woman in orange draped at the far right, who seems to be speaking to the group. Trees and a low stone wall frame the scene. The seated figure at the right in orange clothing with a red mark on the forehead is a candidate for a person, but the appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity; he is described only by role as a seated figure addressing the group.

A figure with long dark hair in saffron-orange robes sits elevated on a raised platform or vehicle at right, surrounded by a crowd of devotees in orange and white clothing seated and standing close together. Bright lights from a vehicle and a street lamp illuminate the scene, with a white car and a lit vehicle or palanquin visible in the background. Foreground devotees, some holding cameras, are seen from behind. Cues for a person: long swept hair and saffron clothing seated centrally on the raised platform as the honoured figure of the procession.2008-01-02Night photograph of a crowded outdoor gathering lit mostly by dim ambient light. In the foreground, a woman in an orange saffron garment with a visible sash stands with her back to the camera, facing a group of young boys seated closely together on the ground, most wearing orange robes and some with shaved heads. Behind them, many adults in orange, maroon and white clothing stand in a loose crowd; a woman in white with a gold-bordered shawl stands near the center, and a man in an olive-green shirt is among the onlookers. A partially visible person with white hair and a bangle sits at the bottom edge. No clearly identifiable a person is visible.2013-11-25January 09 20082008-01-09A photograph taken at dusk or night of a large outdoor gathering on a dirt ground. Many people in white clothing with orange-saffron shawls sit in a wide circle, facing a standing figure at the right wearing an orange-saffron robe and a white chair nearby. A video camera on a tripod stands at the centre of the circle. Behind them are a white building, a green gate, a white boundary wall, and a thatched-roof open pavilion with a pink-painted frame at right. A small wooden case sits near the right foreground beside a row of sandals. The standing figure's face and build are not clearly visible enough to confirm identity, so the appearance-based label remains uncertain.2007-02-22 +1 copiesJanuary 02 20082008-01-02January 02 20082008-01-02August 02 20082008-08-02January 16 20082008-01-16
