September 09 20162016-09-09Photo 11705634A life-size golden statue of a robed sage stands before ornate gilded carving. The figure wears a red turban decorated with rudraksha beads and a pink flower, and has a black dot on the forehead and a mole on the cheek. Garlands of pink flowers and pale seed strands drape the shoulders and chest, with red tassels and a gold-and-green ornament hanging at the waist. Rudraksha and gold bead necklaces cover the chest. The arms are wrapped in straw and silver thread with blue and orange bands, and the right hand is raised in blessing. A bare orange-red cloth wraps the waist. The statue is a depiction, not a physical person, and no people are visible.2014-10-05December 17 20162016-12-17Photo 11704853 +1 copiesA golden statue of a standing saint in a green and gold turban and green dhoti with gold border is decorated with white and red flower garlands and a jewelled ornamental necklace. The raised right hand shows an abhaya gesture, and the left hand hangs at the side. Two brass oil lamps with lit flames stand in the foreground, and a richly decorated deity or throne with layered flower garlands and embroidered red, purple and gold fabric sits to the right, with rose petals on the yellow cloth below. The setting is a stone temple shrine with carved pillars.2016-12-19March 26 20172017-03-26March 26 20172017-03-26March 26 20172017-03-26December 17 20162016-12-17October 26 20162016-10-26 +1 copiesMarch 26 20172017-03-26
