The statue wears a heavy ornate necklace and jewelled collar with purple and red stones, a yellow marigold garland hangs from its shoulders, and its raised right hand is in an abhaya gesture while the left hand hangs open. A gold-coloured cloth is draped at the base. The statue is an image, not a person, and no living people are visible.2016-10-29August 24 20162016-08-24A gilded statue stands in front of an ornate golden arch with carved peacock-like motifs, set against a deep maroon velvet backdrop. The figure wears a red and white turban studded with jewels, large jewelled earrings, and layered necklaces of red, green and white gemstones. It is draped in a green and gold brocade garment and multiple garlands of red marigolds and white flowers, with one raised hand displaying a jewelled palm and the other hand open at the side. Scattered petals lie at its base and a bouquet of yellow and purple flowers sits in the foreground. This is a decorated murti rather than a living person.2026-01-20Photo 11693927
