August 27 20162016-08-27Outdoor construction site under a clear blue sky with tall trees behind. Two corrugated metal container-style structures stand on the right and left. Workers in casual clothes move across a sandy, stone-slab ground; a man in a blue shirt and tan cap carries a long pole, and a shirtless man in a white vest and green trousers walks beside him. A seated person in orange robes sits in the doorway of the right-hand structure. Several other workers crouch and stand near the stone blocks in the background.2016-11-24August 03 20132013-08-03A photograph of an unpaved dirt construction site with red-brown soil. On the left, a shaved-headed person in white ritual clothes stands near a low wall of stacked bricks and a pile of gravel. Behind a long orange-red corrugated wall, several red multi-storey buildings with balconies stand at the right, with banana plants along the edge. Three or four small figures in the middle distance walk and crouch among rubble and stones. A cloudy sky sits above green trees.2016-08-27May 28 20162016-05-28November 19 20162016-11-19April 24 20192019-04-24A construction site outdoors under bright sky with palm trees behind. Two workers carry a long corrugated metal roofing sheet; one wears a green head cloth and checked shirt, the other a plaid shirt and gloves. Dark corrugated metal walls form a framed enclosure. Several other workers stand on the walls and walk across dusty ground. A red-and-white flag and a partly built tall structure appear at right. A rusty metal box and worktable sit at left.2016-11-18An outdoor photograph of a dusty unpaved compound. On the left, a large rust-red shipping container stands beside a group of boys and young men walking past, including a boy in a striped maroon-and-black shirt, a boy in a green checked shirt, a small boy in an orange shirt, and a boy in a navy jacket. In the centre, men in white and cream clothes walk toward a low red-brick building with an open doorway. On the right, a man in a pale blue shirt stands near a pile of sand and another green container, with a white-robed man and several people in white and saffron-coloured clothing walking nearby. No deity, ritual or chariot is visible.2015-08-23Outdoor photo of a dirt construction site beside red multi-storey buildings with balconies and air conditioner units. Banana plants and green trees stand at the right and left edges. Several men work on the bare ground: one in a blue cap and striped shirt, one in an orange shirt carrying a stone, one bending over in a light shirt, and a man in a purple shirt with a checked shirt standing at right. An older man wearing a white dhoti and shawl with a white head covering stands near the centre, with no visible saffron or ornate cues identifying him as a candidate. Scattered rubble and gravel lie along a red-edged path.2016-08-27A photograph of an unpaved dirt road beside a row of red multi-storey apartment blocks with balconies and air conditioners, with green shrubs, banana plants and a stone pile on the left behind a corrugated fence. Several people are scattered along the dirt road, including a man in a checked green shirt and dark trousers in the foreground, and a person in a white kurta with green dhoti-style trousers holding a bundle of green leaves. Other figures in white and grey clothing stand farther back.2016-08-27August 03 20132013-08-03
