A man in an orange-and-white shirt and dark lungi stands on a plank at the upper left, reaching toward the wall. Another man in a white shirt and checked lungi works on the upper right, while a boy in a light shirt and a younger child in shorts and a lungi stand below on the plank. A man in white clothing walks in the dirt lane in the background. The unfinished gateway opening is framed by block walls and a plank platform.2007-03-29May 30 20122012-05-30A photograph of two men working outdoors on a large wooden cabinet or wardrobe with carved, engraved panels. One man in a white shirt and orange lungi crouches on top of the open cabinet, working on its frame. A second man in a white shirt and checked lungi stands at the side, holding a tool and steadying the piece. A small child sits partly hidden behind them. A blue-legged metal workbench with tools lies in front, and thatched palm-leaf huts with a text sign on a bamboo wall stand behind them.2009-12-20Photo 11729556 +1 copiesJuly 03 20072007-07-03June 03 20212021-06-03Photo 11725488 +4 copiesJuly 23 20122012-07-23Interior view of a dimly lit temple doorway framed with yellow and white marigold garlands and a red-and-white floral festoon hanging above. Above the doorway is a carved stone panel with a deity relief flanked by two turquoise-blue cartouches. Several men stand and sit near the stone steps in white shirts and trousers, while others in white dhotis or shirts are seated inside the shrine room beyond the threshold, facing a draped inner sanctum. A single oil lamp glows at the top of the doorway and fluorescent tube lights illuminate the inner hall. The scene looks like temple darshan or puja in progress. Eight to ten people are visible.2007-01-12
