A photograph of a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala sitting cross-legged in meditation on a low wooden seat with a white cushion, a red bindi on his forehead, beneath a massive banyan tree with many aerial roots and spreading branches. A pink-clad person is partly visible at the lower right edge of the frame. The man's appearance matches the page's a person reference through several cues: long swept hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha mala, so the candidate is probable.2006-12-09December 03 20092009-12-03October 06 20062006-10-06December 31 20082008-12-31December 02 20092009-12-02A large banyan tree with many spreading limbs and aerial prop roots fills the frame, its dense green canopy visible against pale sky. Greenery and a small structure appear in the background.2006-10-25A seated man in orange robes sits cross-legged on a white cloth-covered platform in front of a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots. He has long dark wavy hair and a red mark on his forehead, with bare feet and a gold-trimmed orange wrap over his shoulders. A small wooden or cloth-covered step sits in front of the platform above a shallow reflecting pool, and a low stone wall frames the scene. The seated man appears in an appearance-based candidate manner but the page does not confirm his identity, so no name is asserted. The scene suggests a quiet devotional or meditative setting beneath the banyan.2007-06-22A photograph of a large ancient banyan tree with dense hanging aerial roots and thick trunks forming a shrine-like hollow at its base, with a small raised stone platform and a dark recessed niche beneath. In the left foreground a woman with long dark wavy hair wears a flowing saffron-orange garment and presses her body against the tree trunk with her arms wrapped around it, while a man in white clothing stands in the background at the left edge. Dry leaves cover the sandy ground.2011-02-20October 07 20062006-10-07October 07 20062006-10-07
