A temple interior photograph showing a man seen from behind in a rust-red shawl and dhoti with a yellow-orange waist cloth, wearing a white and orange flower garland, facing a large golden-bronze statue of a seated or standing sage with a raised hand. The statue wears a white and red jasmine-rose garland and a red-beaded necklace, and a small metal murti in a red and white garland stands beside it. A cameraman is visible at the back holding a video camera, and there are brass lamps at the lower left. The man's face is partly visible and his forehead bears a white vibhuti mark; his appearance is uncertain, so he is described only by role as a devotee performing puja before the murti.2014-06-12June 12 20142014-06-12June 12 20142014-06-12 +1 copiesJune 12 20142014-06-12June 12 20142014-06-12A photograph of a golden statue of a robed figure in a red-and-gold turban and red-gold dhoti, wearing a layered beaded necklace, being garlanded with long strands of white jasmine and red roses. A shaved-head? No: a man seen from behind with long dark hair tied back, bare-shouldered in a maroon cloth with gold border, reaches up to drape the garland over the statue's shoulders. The statue stands on a red cloth-covered base beside a blue plastic chair, under a stone-pillared open hall, with a tray of offerings in the lower right corner.2014-06-12A photograph inside a temple-like room with cream walls and a gold-toned tiled wall. Two golden-bronze statues stand on the left: a bald, shaved-headed figure in rust-red and gold-bordered cloth with beaded mala and a large blue-stoned pendant, and a crowned deity murti in a white dhoti with a sceptre and garlands. A living man on the right, with hair in a bun, wears a rust-red dhoti with gold border and a garland of red and yellow flowers, and performs a ritual by touching the deity murti's raised hand and tying or adjusting its garland. A man in a white shirt and a mala stands behind. Oil lamps and brass items are at the lower right edge.2014-06-28 +1 copiesJuly 20 20182018-07-20July 20 20182018-07-20June 12 20142014-06-12June 12 20142014-06-12April 29 20122012-04-29 +3 copies
