A photograph of a ritual in a covered temple-style hall. A devotee in a rust-red dhoti and wrap with white garland raises both arms toward a golden statue, or murti, of a seated figure wearing a tall red-and-gold headdress, rudraksha-style beads, and white and red flower garlands. Two priests stand at left in rust-red and saffron robes with rudraksha malas; one holds a silver plate of red flowers and the other holds a small vessel and spoon. A cameraman films beside them, and a person in white stands at right near a tray of gold and red items. A red wall and trees show through the open side of the hall.2014-06-12A woman in a maroon and rust-coloured garment with a white flower garland over her shoulder raises a handful of red flowers toward a golden-brown statue of a sannyasi wearing an orange and maroon turban, a rudraksha mala, and a white and red flower garland. The statue has its palms joined in a greeting gesture. Behind her a man in white clothing films with a handheld camera, another person in white stands at the right, and an open-sided structure with a red brick wall and trees forms the outdoor setting. Brass ornaments are visible at the lower right. The statue is a depiction, not a physical person.2014-06-12A devotee in a rust-red dhoti and wrap with a white and orange flower garland stands at the left, reaching up with one hand to touch the head of a golden-brown statue. The statue wears a rust-red and gold turban, a red-and-white flower garland, a red shawl and beaded necklaces. Behind them a red brick wall, stacked timber and trees are visible, and a man in a white shirt with a lanyard stands at right.2014-06-12A temple-style ritual scene under a stone-pillared canopy. Behind him another man in white holds a bell and incense. On the right, a large deity murti in a maroon and gold cloth is decorated with white and red flower garlands and a red shawl. Brass lamps and a stone wall with stacked material appear in the background.2014-06-12June 12 20142014-06-12A temple interior photograph showing a man seen from behind in a rust-red shawl and dhoti with a yellow-orange waist cloth, wearing a white and orange flower garland, facing a large golden-bronze statue of a seated or standing sage with a raised hand. The statue wears a white and red jasmine-rose garland and a red-beaded necklace, and a small metal murti in a red and white garland stands beside it. A cameraman is visible at the back holding a video camera, and there are brass lamps at the lower left. The man's face is partly visible and his forehead bears a white vibhuti mark; his appearance is uncertain, so he is described only by role as a devotee performing puja before the murti.2014-06-12 +1 copiesJune 23 20132013-06-23 +2 copiesJune 29 20142014-06-29 +1 copiesDecember 30 20072007-12-30June 30 20152015-06-30January 13 20152015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13
