A photograph of a temple shrine where a young man with long dark hair, bare-chested and wearing an orange dhoti with a rudraksha mala across his chest, performs an aarti with a flaming lamp held in both hands before a deity murti. The murti behind the lamp is adorned with white and pink flower garlands and a large ornate headdress. Behind him stand larger painted or carved figures with gold ornaments, and a bronze statue of a robed sage with a beaded necklace stands at the right. Brass lamps, a gold-trimmed altar with offerings, and a dark stone pillar frame the scene, with orange-and-gold draped cloth hanging on the right.2015-05-13March 02 20112011-03-02 +1 copiesOctober 29 20102010-10-29May 13 20152015-05-13October 27 20102010-10-27March 02 20112011-03-02 +1 copiesOctober 07 20102010-10-07 +1 copiesMay 13 20152015-05-13A man in orange robes stands barefoot on a small woven mat beside a carved grey stone altar in an orange-walled hall. He wears a long dark rudraksha mala with an orange shawl draped over one shoulder and a red-and-orange cloth at his waist, and his long dark hair is swept back. His right hand rests on the stone altar, which holds brass vessels, a brass kalasha-style pot, cups and a small oil lamp. Beside him stands a gold-framed mirror-like panel and a wooden cabinet with red lining holding a tray of garlands and flowers. A red cushioned seat is nearby. The scene suggests a temple ritual setting.2010-11-07March 02 20112011-03-02May 13 20152015-05-13May 13 20152015-05-13
