Behind them, a tent draped in pink, red and orange cloth with orange flags. Behind a low rectangular platform of concrete blocks, a sacred fire pit smokes, with brass vessels, a kalasha-style pot and a mound of marigold and flower offerings. Many people in white clothes sit in rows on the ground, while others in orange garments sit near the platform. A pink and orange draped backdrop hangs behind the seating area, and baskets of fruit sit at the right edge. Hazy sunlight fills the scene.2006-12-29Outdoor photo of a large seated congregation on a dirt ground under a corrugated metal roof supported by steel posts, with coconut palms overhead. Many devotees in white clothes sit on mats facing a central area, where a red-cloth-covered table and a red pillar structure stand. An orange-walled building with white-and-red striped trim is at left, and a tall red-and-white pole rises at right beside a small deity shrine. Some people in white sit on the right; a figure in an orange-brown garment sits near the front center.
