Bare feet in white clothing rest on the tray's edge. The tray holds small silver bowls of offerings, a red apple, white flowers and pink-red roses and lotus blossoms. Above, out of focus, a person in white clothing holds a small silver vessel, and gold-coloured and orange-draped figures appear in the background, possibly a deity murti. Spotlight-like warm glow over the silver vessels.

A person in orange clothing with bare forearms rests a hand near the tray, and another person in white is seen from behind in the foreground. Green foliage blurs the lower left.

Close photograph of a padapuja foot-worship ritual. A bare foot in an orange-saffron garment rests on a gold tray scattered with red and pink rose petals, while a hand in a white sleeve, wearing a gold bangle, washes or offers petals to the foot. Silver bowls hold red apples, petals and liquid around the tray. The person whose feet are being worshipped is not shown above the ankle; the visible figure is only the feet and wrist, so no face or identity is discernible.
