Photograph of a pada puja, the foot-worship ritual, seen from behind several seated devotees. A bare foot of a figure in orange robes rests on a gold tray. Around it are many small silver and gold bowls holding offerings, including red apples, flowers, sticks of incense and what appears to be milk or other liquid. A devotee in white clothes holds a small metal vessel at the top of the frame, and two dark-haired people in white are seen from the back in the foreground. Incense sticks stand upright beside the tray.

Photograph of a puja offering in progress. In the foreground, a person with a shaved head and rudraksha mala, seen from behind, sits beside a large ornate golden tray. Bare feet in white clothing rest on the tray's edge. The tray holds small silver bowls of offerings, a red apple, white flowers and pink-red roses and lotus blossoms. Above, out of focus, a person in white clothing holds a small silver vessel, and gold-coloured and orange-draped figures appear in the background, possibly a deity murti. Spotlight-like warm glow over the silver vessels.

Close-up of a padapuja-style offering in progress. A person in an orange robe sits at left, with an orange-clad lap visible, while a bare hand with rudraksha beads reaches into a silver offering plate. Silver bowls hold white flowers, green leaves, sliced vegetables and two red apples. A silver vessel and a white-handled silver implement lie on the tray. At right, a person in white clothing with a bead necklace bends over the plates, handling the offerings. Gold metal ornaments sit on the tray.

Close-up photograph of a ritual offering being arranged on a brass and silver tray. A bare hand wearing gold bangles and rings reaches across silver bowls holding white flowers, green leaves, a red apple and a lotus bud. In the foreground, blurred heads of two onlookers are visible, and an orange-robed arm appears at the upper right.

Close view of a ritual offering being arranged on an ornate gold-coloured pedestal. A hand in an orange garment holds a conch-shaped vessel over glass bowls holding oil lamps, incense sticks and pink flower petals. A man seen from behind wears a white dhoti with red-striped border and a shawl, with a dark rudraksha-style cord at his neck. Orange robes at left and bangled wrists suggest a puja offering, not an identified person.

Close-up photograph of a puja offering set on a gold-toned base. Silver and gilt trays hold lit oil lamps, a red apple, pink flower petals, pink blossoms, and small bowls with green leaves. Incense sticks rise from the back. In the foreground, a person in orange robes with a maroon trim sits at the left, and a person in white dhoti with a maroon border stands at the right, both blurred.

A photograph of a ritual offering being prepared on a gold tray. In the foreground, a figure in an orange robe with gold trim sits with hands near silver bowls. A person in white clothing with gold bangles pours liquid from a small silver vessel into a bowl. Red and pink flower petals and a red fruit with a white flower sit among the silver bowls. A partly visible bald head appears at right. The setting suggests puja or abhishekam preparation.
