His long dark hair is swept back, and he is smiling. Behind him, a woman in a white sari with gold border follows through a doorway decorated with a green leaf torana and white flowers. Marigold and rose petals are scattered on the steps, and a brass oil lamp stands near the entrance. A man in white is partially visible at lower right, holding pink flowers, and a second man stands in the background. The walls are pale blue, with framed images on the wall above the doorway.2010-01-19A man with long dark hair and a red bindi walks forward with eyes lowered, wearing a flowing saffron-orange garment draped over one shoulder and a long necklace of large gold beads. Behind him, two men in white dhotis and shawls with gold borders follow; the one on the left carries a white box and the one on the right holds a gold plate. A maroon curtain and a projector screen are visible in the background, and a white banner stands at the left edge.2011-02-27 +1 copiesDecember 11 20112011-12-11 +1 copiesPhotograph of a crowd of devotees on white and red striped temple steps. A central figure in orange ochre robes wears a long white and red flower garland, a gold pendant necklace, a red headband and sandals; his long hair falls past his shoulders. Around him, men in white kurtas and white dhotis, several with orange shawls and red headbands, stand and crouch; one man in white bends low at the lower left. Behind them stand more men in white shirts and dhotis, some with rudraksha malas, beneath hanging green leaves and a golden trident.2007-12-25A photograph of a procession walking down a red carpet inside a decorated hall. A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a white-and-red tilak on his forehead wears an orange saffron shawl and dhoti edged with gold, a heavy gold necklace with a large pendant, and an ornate gold armband; he smiles and walks forward with a bare-footed stride. Behind him a younger man in matching orange robes and gold-bordered cloth carries a silver vessel with flowers and a garland. Other attendants in white dhotis with sacred ash markings walk behind, and a golden staff with a tall finial stands at left. Overhead are palm-leaf decorations, marigold garlands, and colourful tasselled fabric, with spectators at the right edge. Elaborate garlands and ceremonial objects suggest a temple or festival procession.2011-03-02A photograph of a man with long dark hair parted in the middle, wearing an orange saffron-coloured dhoti and shawl with a maroon border, a rudraksha mala and a gold pendant necklace, and gold armlets with rudraksha bands. He has a red bindi on his forehead, holds a white sheet of paper in one hand and reads from it while walking through a bright hall. Behind him, several people in white and yellow traditional clothing stand or move about, and a man in white dhoti carries a tray. The man in orange shows distinctive saffron robes, long hair and rudraksha adornments, consistent with the probable Swamiji description, while the room has a pink wall and tiled floor.2011-02-11Outdoor photo on a paved courtyard beside rows of red plastic chairs. In the foreground a figure in saffron-orange robes with a matching orange turban and long swept-back hair walks forward, wrapped in a draped orange shawl and wearing sandals.
