Drummers in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with rudraksha malas play long wooden dhol drums with rolled carrying bags, standing on a concrete courtyard. Behind them, several monks in saffron robes stand near a stone staircase, and a robed figure in red-orange holds a kalasha pot, while a man in white dhoti stands near a white cloth. A woolly woven mat and a pink runner lie along the path leading toward the steps.2015-09-08January 14 20182018-01-14A photograph of a street-side procession in front of a terracotta-coloured wall with flowering bushes and a silver SUV behind. Many young boys and girls in red and orange robes with white forehead marks and rudraksha malas stand closely together. Several play large barrel drums and a cymbal; long brass horns are raised at the left. A bald adult in an orange robe and rudraksha mala stands centre-right beside a figure in white dhoti.2014-06-19August 12 20162016-08-12A procession moves along a paved courtyard under an open-sided pavilion with red metal posts. Young boys in saffron-orange and red robes play long brass horns and a barrel drum. A central adult figure in a yellow-and-gold dhoti with a cream shawl and a garland walks with them, while a man in white shirt and a white forehead band walks in the foreground. A dark SUV, red brick wall and palm trees are behind.2013-11-02A photograph of a group of drummers performing a procession outdoors on a dirt path beside coconut palms. Most drummers wear orange dhotis and orange cloth wraps with beaded necklaces, while a few wear white dhotis with orange-striped waistbands. They play large drums and frame drums, some with sticks, and one drummer in the foreground carries a round hand drum. Behind them are a green-roofed open shed with a yellow metal frame, a white SUV, a red boundary wall and a green crop field. The scene suggests a drum procession during a dhwajarohanam flag-hoisting event.2015-09-08August 31 20142014-08-31
