Several people in saffron-orange robes stand in groups, including drummers playing hand drums and a small child in orange holding a long curved horn. Two ornate red and gold parasols with fringed edges are held over the procession. Other people in white dhotis and orange cloth stand nearby. The setting suggests a temple ritual procession.2016-01-11Outdoor temple-site scene under tall palm trees and a cloudy sky. Drummers in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with rudraksha malas play long wooden dhol drums with rolled carrying bags, standing on a concrete courtyard. Behind them, several monks in saffron robes stand near a stone staircase, and a robed figure in red-orange holds a kalasha pot, while a man in white dhoti stands near a white cloth. A woolly woven mat and a pink runner lie along the path leading toward the steps.2015-09-08A photograph of young boys in saffron-orange robes and orange turbans playing drums outdoors in a dusty courtyard. The boy in front centre holds a drumstick on a large green-and-gold drum, while others on the left and right play barrel drums and cymbals. Several wear rudraksha malas. Behind them stands a figure in white dhoti and white kurta with a mala, and a red-and-white painted border, palm trees and a small building appear in the background. Some of the boys wear face masks.2014-08-17A photograph at dusk of a group of drummers walking along a dirt road past palm trees and a parked silver car. Several men in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas carry large red drums with gold-threaded covers slung over their shoulders, striking them with sticks. The central drummer wears a white dhoti and a white sash, with white ash marks on his forehead. A few more drummers in orange are visible at the edges, and a lamp glows in the background among the trees.2014-11-26August 12 20162016-08-12
