Photograph of two saffron-robed men in an open courtyard with orange walls. The man on the right has long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, a shawl of orange and gold with red border, and a heavy gold bead necklace; he gestures with one hand toward the shaven-headed man on the left, who wears orange robes, a gold necklace, a gold armlet and bangles and looks down. Several men in white dhotis with maroon borders stand behind, one with folded hands. The shawl-and-cues appearance of the right-hand man is consistent with the page's a person reference, so he is labelled a probable Swamiji candidate in person; the other figures are devotees.2011-10-26A photograph of a long-haired figure in an orange-and-gold saffron wrap with a gold bead necklace and rudraksha-style gold ornaments fastening a gold chain or garland around the neck of a smiling shaved-headed man in orange robes and a gold armlet. The long-haired figure has distinctive long dark hair and gold necklaces, consistent with Swamiji (probable), tying the gold chain as an honour. Behind them, several people in white dhotis with maroon borders and orange saris and salwar stand watching and smiling outdoors near an orange wall, a potted plant and a sign reading MEET the M in English. The figure on the right appears to be the central subject of the honour, while the recipient in orange receives it.2011-10-26A photograph of an outdoor ashram setting with an orange-painted wall and a printed banner behind. In the foreground, a long-haired man in an orange sannyasi cloth with a gold necklace of beads is tying or adjusting a gold beaded garland and armlet on a shaven-headed young man in orange robes, who smiles while a red-marked forehead is visible. Around them, people in white dhotis with pink borders, and a man in a maroon top, watch with hands folded in greeting. The long-haired figure has distinctive long dark hair, orange robes, gold necklaces and a shoulder-draped orange cloth, which are appearance cues consistent with the page's Swamiji reference (probable). Several onlookers stand nearby in saffron, white and maroon clothing.2011-10-26A photograph of a celebratory event with a green banner behind the stage showing large white Kannada lettering and the numeral 60 in blue. A bald man in orange saffron robes with a draped orange shawl smiles broadly while placing a white flower garland around the neck of another person kneeling or bowing before him, whose head is covered by an orange turban and who wears an orange robe. Both wear saffron clothing. On the right, a bearded man in white kurta and orange shawl stands with hands pressed together in greeting, and another man in white with a rudraksha mala and orange shawl stands behind. On the left, a man in a white shirt holds a bowl of offerings. Marigold and white flower garlands hang from the banner.2007-01-30A photograph of two saffron-clad men in an outdoor setting. Behind them, several men in white dhotis and a man in a maroon shawl stand with hands folded, and a woman in a grey tunic with teal trousers and an orange shawl watches. An orange wall and a poster reading MEET the Master sit behind them. The ritual gesture appears to be a bestowal of an armlet during a gathering.2011-10-26A photograph of three men in a temple-like courtyard with orange-painted walls and a carved stone pillar behind them. On the right, a man with long, swept-back dark hair and a saffron-orange sleeveless robe with rudraksha malas is smiling and holding hands with a man in white. On the left, a bald man in white robes and a rudraksha mala with glasses leans in. In the centre, a man in white dhoti and shawl wears a heavy gold necklace with a small portrait pendant and a red tilak on his forehead. Tricolour-like smears of sacred ash mark the arms. Swamiji (probable) is the man on the right with long hair, saffron robe and rudraksha malas.2010-09-03A photograph of a red-walled corridor where a shaved-headed sannyasi in orange robes and a rudraksha mala garlands a seated elderly man with a fresh orange-and-white flower garland. Beside them a man in white dhoti with gold border and beaded necklace holds a garland, while a bald man in white and a man in white kurta stand by. A wall notice reads Please respect the privacy of Swami Paramahamsa Nithyananda. The scene resembles a devotee receiving garlanding and blessing at a temple corridor.2011-11-21December 28 20112011-12-28A photograph of a pada puja in an ashram courtyard with an orange-draped floor mat. A smiling man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange robe and draped orange shawl, holds a rudraksha mala and offers it to a bald older man in white, who leans forward with hands joined. Around them, men in shirts stand watching, and to the right a shaved-headed man in white robes with a yellow shawl and another in white stand near orange cloth hangings. Probable Swamiji (long swept-back hair, orange robe and shawl, rudraksha mala) is the one giving the mala, so the appearance-based label applies.2009-12-16Outdoor photo under a canopy with palm trees and tall orange and white festival streamers.
