A photograph of a crowd queuing outdoors in a paved courtyard in front of an orange-walled building, with palm fronds and a dark car at right. Many young men and boys stand holding metal plates of food, most wearing checked, striped or plain shirts and jeans or shorts. One boy at centre wears a red headband, and a man at right wears a white shirt with a rainbow-striped shawl. A woman in a pink sari stands at right edge near the car, and a small child in a floral dress is partly visible at left. A sign on the building reads that the area is under camera surveillance. The scene suggests a communal food distribution line.
