Men in white dhotis and white shirts, and men in striped and checked shirts, stand along metal barricade railings holding steel plates of food. A woman in a teal blue sari with a yellow flower in her hair stands at the right edge. Wooden poles support the tent canopy. Several people are smiling, and one man at the left holds a plate while looking to the side. Men in white shirts and white dhotis, some with checked lungis, stand alongside women in colourful saris, one in green and another in yellow-and-red, while a saffron-clad man in an orange cloth is visible mid-line. Several people carry plastic bags and water bottles. The paved ground is lined with palms and a banner is mounted near the roof. Palm-leaf decorations and bunting suggest an annadan food-distribution line.2012-11-27A photograph of a crowd of men queuing outdoors beneath a tented food stall with striped bunting in red, green, yellow, purple and blue. Many men wear white dhotis and white shirts, while others wear checked or striped shirts and trousers. Palm fronds and wooden poles frame the stall, and a Tamil-language sign hangs at the top left. A forested hill rises in the background, and a man in the foreground holds a white plastic bag. No recognisable a person figure is visible, so the scene shows only devotees waiting for annadan-style food distribution.2012-11-27November 27 20122012-11-27A photograph of a crowd queuing behind silver metal barriers beneath a white tent canopy edged with orange, blue and purple fringed trim, with colourful bunting visible at the left.
