Two men in saffron-orange clothing sit on the left: one, in the centre, holds a steel bowl and ladle near a small fire or offering dish, while the other beside him holds a bowl and a small brass ritual item. A third man on the right wears white dhoti-style clothing with a yellow shawl and a rudraksha mala. In the foreground a yellow-and-gold brocade cushion or seat is set on a platform, with a brass bell, a plate of bananas and a small brass lamp nearby. Marigolds and greenery surround the courtyard. The men are performing an offering or ritual worship; no figure is clearly identified as a person.
