The figure wears a tall crown, a beaded necklace and a garland, and holds a small object in one raised hand. Beside it stands a golden tiered kalasha-style vessel on a base. At the left edge, a person in a saffron-orange robe stands, and behind them two people in white dhoti and white garments with orange waist cloths are partly visible, their feet near the floor. Dark carved stone surfaces with lotus-petal patterns form the background. Scattered red flower petals lie on the stone base.2007-10-25March 04 20192019-03-04A golden metal deity murti stands on a tiered pedestal and is being bathed with water poured from a brass vessel held by a person in orange-saffron robes. Water sprays in arcs around the figure and over the wet stone platform, with a few red flowers at the lower left. The murti wears a tall crown and jewellery, and the person's white dhoti shows at the right edge. This is an abhishekam ritual.2007-10-25Photo 82841832022-07-12 +1 copiesJune 23 20132013-06-23A bronze-coloured deity murti stands upright on a red cloth base while water pours over it in a rushing stream. Water flows over the figure and splashes onto a shallow stone basin with a grated drain behind it. The figure wears a tall crown-like headdress and ornamental adornments, and the scene is a close-up with no visible people.2010-07-05A photograph of a gold-coloured metal deity murti standing on a grey stone slab, being bathed in a cascade of water poured from a vessel held by a person in an orange-red garment. The murti is a standing figure with an ornate crown, elaborate jewellery and a rudraksha-like garland, with a stepped gold pyramidal base or meru-like form beside it. Yellow flowers lie scattered on the wet stone. Only the pouring hands and orange-clad lower body of the person are visible, so the official is only partly shown. This appears to depict an abhishekam bathing ritual.2007-10-25November 01 20112011-11-01
