A photo of a seated ritual food offering in a hall with a patterned mat floor. In the foreground, a bare-chested sannyasi with long dreadlocked hair wrapped in a dark turban and a reddish-brown wrap, seated and reaching into a large silver bowl of yellow rice. Around him, women in white saris with red-orange and gold borders, white head coverings, and lanyards kneel and stand, one kneeling woman holding a white paper plate and another extending her palms toward the offering. Steel trays of rice sit on the mat, and white paper sheets cover the floor. Behind them, devotees in white and orange move about near a wall of framed photographs, consistent with a Maheshwara Puja food offering.
