In the foreground, a bare-chested sannyasi with long dreadlocked hair wrapped in a dark turban and a reddish-brown wrap, seated and reaching into a large silver bowl of yellow rice. Around him, women in white saris with red-orange and gold borders, white head coverings, and lanyards kneel and stand, one kneeling woman holding a white paper plate and another extending her palms toward the offering.
