A photograph of a puja inside a hall with a large backdrop printed with a temple gopuram and tree foliage. A woman in a white sari with a long braid stands at left swinging a smoking incense or camphor vessel toward the altar. Seated devotees in front, several with long braids and dresses in orange, green, blue and purple, face the altar. The altar holds offerings on plates, a deity murti draped in garlands at the centre, and brass lamps and vessels on the floor in front. Smoke drifts through the air. Some people are visible at the left and right edges.
