A decorated ceremonial platform stands before a tall red-brick stepped wall. Under a multicoloured umbrella and a saffron-yellow fringed canopy sits a small deity murti garlanded with marigolds and purple flowers. Beside it, a framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" shows a saffron-robed figure, garlanded with a yellow marigold chain. Banana plants and flower garlands frame the platform. Several young men in white dhotis and shirts stand and kneel around the base, some in shallow water, one holding a long object near the platform. Water and a pot sit at the front.
