A raised platform draped in a white cloth and orange runner floats in a stepped tank of water, carrying a deity murti decorated with yellow and purple flower garlands beneath a multicoloured umbrella and a gold-trimmed canopy. Beside the murti stands a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure with long hair, garlanded in yellow flowers, set on a red cushioned seat with a small brass lamp. Around the platform, several men wade in the water: two in front wear white dhotis with gold garlands, one holding a brass vessel, and others in white shirts and dhotis push and steady the float. A potted plant and banana leaves frame the scene against red tiered steps.
