Outdoor welcome procession on a dirt path beneath a decorated arch of green banana stalks, leaves, and marigold-style garlands. A banner across the arch reads in Tamil script with a portrait of a man with long hair; the banner shows tricolour stripes. Drummers in red shirts and dark trousers play drums on both sides, while a line of people in white dhotis and shirts, some in white and orange saris, stands waiting. Two decorated umbrellas with multicoloured canopies are held over the procession, and a parked red vehicle and a striped tent appear at the left. Overcast sky.
