Beneath a decorated stage with green banana stalks, marigold garlands and a gold-fringed awning, a figure in saffron-orange robes stands at the centre, surrounded by men in white shirts and dhotis. A large white banner with blue lettering is held up by hands in the foreground, and drummers with a dhol and a long wind instrument play at the front. A crowd of many men, some in white and some in checked shirts, presses close on both sides under a pale sky, with shopfronts and an arch behind them.2006-09-24August 01 20082008-08-01June 19 20142014-06-19 +3 copies
