Night photo of a group of women and girls lighting sparklers on the veranda and yard of a plain terracotta-coloured building under strip lights, with smoke drifting through the air. Several women in white and cream saris with red borders stand on the porch holding bright sparklers, and a woman in a red-bordered white sari near the centre holds a lit sparkler. On the right, two women in orange saris stand on the dirt ground, one holding sparklers. A stone-edged planter runs along the front. The setting suggests a Diwali sparkler celebration, though no explicit festival label is visible in the frame.
