Night procession photographed from a distance in dark surroundings. A group of people in white and light clothing walks along a dim road toward a decorated vehicle lit by bright floodlights and small coloured lights. On the right, a figure in orange clothing stands beside an ornate green-and-gold ratha or chariot, with a tall decorated structure rising above it. Several people walk in the foreground and beside the vehicles, and a tall lit pole or light stands in the background.2016-03-02March 02 20162016-03-02 +1 copiesApril 29 20152015-04-29Night photograph of a illuminated processional float on a dark road. A large seated figure in an ornate arch is decked with thick garlands of red, orange and yellow flowers and gold ornaments, lit warmly from the front. Two attendants in white dhoti-style garments with orange shawls stand beside the float at its base. Bare trees and a streetlamp are visible above, with a low brick wall at right. Several dark silhouettes of onlookers or bearers stand in the foreground. The seated figure appears to be a deity murti or statue rather than a living person, so no appearance-based candidate is identified.2015-02-03September 15 20162016-09-15September 01 20162016-09-01April 29 20152015-04-29Night photograph of a procession on a dark, unpaved road. A vehicle with bright headlights stands at left beside a group of people in mostly orange and saffron clothing, some holding umbrellas. Further right, an illuminated ornate float or chariot decorated with red and orange flowers and lights carries a figure, and a second lit float with a deity murti sits farther back. A small building with lights glows in the background. No clearly identifiable a person is visible; the figures are too distant and dark to confirm any individual's appearance.2016-09-15Night procession photographed from behind a crowd of onlookers. A decorated chariot, lit by string lights and a street lamp, carries a deity murti seated under a striped canopy, with garlands of purple and pink flowers and gold ornaments on the vehicle. Many people stand in dark silhouette in the foreground, some in white clothes. No individual can be identified as a person from appearance in this frame.2015-02-17 +1 copiesFebruary 17 20152015-02-17September 15 20162016-09-15April 29 20152015-04-29
