Beside her a bare-chested man with white sacred markings on his arms and body, wearing a white dhoti with gold border, a rudraksha mala and a white identity badge, joins his palms before his chest. Most wear white shirts, white dhotis and white sarees or salwar-style outfits, with some in yellow, green and pale blue. A few people wear rudraksha or lanyard-style badges around their necks. Metal handrails with red-and-white painted steps lead up past black stone pillars. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person in this crowd view.2010-07-25February 27 20142014-02-27November 11 20152015-11-11A large crowd of devotees, mostly women, sits on red brick steps outdoors at a Guru Purnima satsang, many wearing white saris with gold-and-green or red borders and rudraksha malas. Several have palms pressed together in anjali or eyes closed in prayer. A woman in the centre with short grey hair speaks or sings, while a young boy in white sits among them. A tripod and potted plants appear at the upper edge. No one in the frame is identifiable as a person; the scene shows devotees only.2015-07-31A large outdoor ritual gathering seen from the side, with rows of seated participants before black stone shivalingams on low bases and brass vessels with pouring spouts. Many men are bare-chested with white dhotis and rudraksha malas, while women wear saris and salwar kameez in orange, red, white and purple. In the foreground a bearded man sits bare-chested with hands folded, beside a woman in a white and gold sari with a rudraksha mala and a woman in a white and red embroidered top with a cream shawl, eyes closed in meditation. A young woman at right presses her palms together. Red and yellow flags and a tiered stage structure appear in the background. No a person candidate is clearly identifiable, so the setting reads as a puja or abhishekam assembly.2016-12-03February 27 20142014-02-27A large crowd of devotees, mostly women, sits in rows on red-brown stone steps during a ritual gathering. Most wear white or cream traditional clothing, many with red or maroon shawls and thin red-and-white borders. Each person sits before a small dark stone ritual lamp or vessel, with brass pots, bowls and offerings scattered across the steps. Several hold their hands together in prayer or perform gestures with the lamps, and a few wear rudraksha or bead necklaces. A pale stone wall and a faint purple logo appear at the top left. The scene suggests a puja gathering with many participants seated in ordered rows.2017-07-03 +1 copiesFebruary 27 20142014-02-27A large outdoor gathering of devotees sits on the ground in rows, most women in white or cream saree and salwar, some in coloured saris, many with long braided hair and hands pressed in anjali.
