A woman in a red kurta and a woman in white with a mala-like cord stand prominently; one in a golden shawl and a woman in a black top with a white-and-blue dress also pray. Screens show a ceremony in the background. Sunlit trees surround the scene.2018-12-22 +2 copiesAn outdoor crowd gathers on a dusty hillside beneath tree branches and strings of small red and purple flags. Dozens of people in white dhotis, white shirts and white saris fill the scene, with several women in orange and gold-bordered saris and others in teal, green and pink. Many women wear flowers in their hair and some have long braids. Some people stand with hands joined in prayer, and a few older women and men stand near the front. A speaker stands on a tripod at right and a small pole fence frames the foreground. No single figure clearly matches a recognisable presentation, so no candidate is identified.2007-01-12
