A small brass or copper item sits among the petals. The plate rests on a woven mat with purple, red and green stripes. At the upper left, a hand holds a white bowl of cotton wool or camphor pieces, and a matchbox lies at the right. No people's faces are visible and no a person candidate appears.2006-12-26Close view of a ritual offering on a metal tray placed on the floor. A pair of bare feet of a standing person appears at the left edge. The tray holds folded silk cloths in maroon, gold-bordered, white and purple tones, a gold-coloured ornamental object wrapped in yellow cord, and a heap of red rose petals. A bowl of mixed petals in red, orange and yellow sits at the right, and yellow and white flower garlands with red ribbon lie at the lower left. Scattered petals cover the floor.2015-10-18December 11 20112011-12-11 +1 copiesDecember 23 20102010-12-23Close photo of bare feet resting on a golden-brown silk cushion placed on an orange cloth, with yellow marigold garlands and white flowers around them. The person's orange robe drapes over the right side of the frame. A golden ornament and a small red flower sit near the toes. This appears to be a padapuja, the ritual washing or worship of feet. The person's face is not visible, so the figure is described only by the visible feet and robe. The orange cloth covers the floor and the seat beneath the cushion.2010-07-24Overhead view of a round metal tray heaped with yellow marigolds and pink and white flowers, with a folded red cloth bundle tied with gold-bordered ends placed at its centre. A metal vessel rests at the top edge and a second flower-filled tray sits at the right. Strands of white and red flowers lie on the floor mat, and a person in white clothing with a red and orange border is partly visible at the left edge.2006-12-26December 24 20152015-12-24Close-up photograph of a round wooden tray or plate draped with a red silk cloth bordered in gold zari, holding folded white cloth and a small pile of red-orange fabric or cloth, resting on a terracotta-coloured ledge or pillar. A thin orange-yellow cord hangs from the tray's edge. A blurred background of orange and red tones suggests an outdoor ritual setting. Lower right of the frame shows the edge of a figure in dark clothing with red tassels, partly cut off. No faces are visible.2011-12-10Close-up photograph of a devotee's hands offering a silver-toned ceremonial plate holding yellow marigold flowers, red petals and white blossoms, with a round yellow-wrapped object tied with a yellow thread. A person wearing a rudraksha bead bracelet and a dark rudraksha mala with a pendant is visible behind, in white clothing, alongside a second arm with a multicoloured thread bracelet. Background is blurred with other white-clothed devotees.2015-11-18
