June 06 20132013-06-06Making Of Sacred Arts University +1 copiesA photograph of a large weathered stone sculpture lying on the ground, partly encased in reddish-brown earth and grit, with a dark sooty patch on one side. Two workers' hands in white clothing are tying or adjusting thin metal wire and rods wrapped around the stone, which appears to be a carved statue being excavated or prepared for moving. A pale stone block sits beneath the piece, and dry soil surrounds it.2013-07-14June 22 20132013-06-22 +1 copiesA photograph taken on sandy ground showing a person's bare foot and a checked blue and brown lungi at the top edge. In the centre is a rough cast of white plaster or cement with a dark, glossy black mould cavity that appears to hold a carved or cast deity murti, its details partly obscured. A loose white cloth or plastic strip trails from the block onto the sand, with small debris and a yellow-wrapped item nearby. No a person or other identifiable figure is visible. Tinted translucent logo and a copyright line appear in the corner, which should not be transcribed.2013-06-17July 13 20132013-07-13 +1 copiesDecember 19 20092009-12-19Two men in white shirts lean over stone troughs set on a sandy floor against an orange wall. Inside the upper trough a dark object lies covered, and in the lower trough a pale carved stone figure of a reclining form is visible, partly obscured by grime. One man, on the left, reaches down with his hand toward the lower trough while the other, on the right, bends close to inspect it.2013-07-14A craftsman in a white shirt and maroon lungi sits cross-legged on a tarpaulin in a dusty workshop, working on a large white sculpture of a bull's body with a chisel and mallet. Around him lie sculpted pieces in rust-coloured and grey tones, a metal tool, scattered sacks and debris, and cinder-block walls. The workshop setting suggests temple sculpture or statue-making.2009-09-22August 21 20092009-08-21 +1 copiesSeptember 20 20112011-09-20July 29 20132013-07-29
