July 12 20132013-07-12 +1 copiesClose-up photograph of a floral garland worn on an image. The foreground garland is dense white jasmine-like flowers studded with red roses, bordered by green leaves at the base and bands of yellow and purple marigold-type flowers at the top. A blurred second garland and a dark red background are behind it. No people are visible; only the garland is shown, consistent with puja decoration for an image or murti.2018-04-25October 12 20072007-10-12June 03 20122012-06-03A tall brass trident (trishula) stands upright on a round stone base outdoors, its shaft wrapped in two long garlands of yellow marigolds alternating with bands of red roses, with green leaves at the top. Behind it is a red-painted building with a corrugated metal roof, a window and a green-roofed structure above, and trees with foliage. The scene suggests a ritual decoration of the trident, a symbol of Shiva. No people are visible.2015-11-21December 31 20092009-12-31Close-up photograph of a heaped metal tray holding long garlands of white flowers. The garland coils are piled on the tray in the foreground. Behind them, slightly out of focus, a woven basket holds fruit including bananas, oranges and what appear to be red tomatoes, and blurred orange-robed figures are visible at the upper edges. No people are clearly in focus. The setting suggests an ashram ritual offering or puja preparation.2016-10-29November 16 20152015-11-16June 03 20122012-06-03A close photograph of a ritual offering arranged on a white-draped table outdoors. Large heaps of yellow marigold-type flowers, red celosia-style blooms and white flowers are bundled with green leaves and tied with a dry straw band. Silver bowls and a plate sit beside them, a peach-coloured fruit is at the left edge, and a lit oil lamp is visible at the top. A person in an orange garment stands at the right edge, partly cropped. No face of any person is clearly visible, so no identifiable a person appearance is shown.2011-01-16July 07 20092009-07-07October 05 20132013-10-05
