January 18 20132013-01-18A man stands barefoot in profile with palms pressed together in namaskar before a black stone deity murti draped in red cloth with a white-and-red garland, set inside an arched stone niche with brown curtain backdrop. He wears a rust-orange dhoti and matching orange shawl, a beaded rudraksha-style waist belt and beaded armlets, a long bead mala with a silver pendant, and his hair is tied in a topknot. Heaps of red flowers and small brass lamps sit at the base of the shrine.2013-01-18A man stands in profile on a stone floor outdoors, hands pressed together in namaskar at chest height with eyes closed. He has long dark hair, gold earrings, bangles, and wears a rudraksha mala with gold beads, with a bare chest and a rust-brown dhoti-style garment banded with yellow. Behind him is a yellow-backed arch with a black stone deity murti holding a trident-like weapon and wearing an orange garment and red headband, next to a heap of red-painted stones and a small shrine with a plaque. Trees and red earth surround the scene. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala and gold ornaments in an in_person appearance, though the identity is inferred from appearance only.2013-05-04December 07 20112011-12-07 +1 copiesMarch 04 20132013-03-04 +1 copiesApril 04 20132013-04-04May 13 20132013-05-13 +1 copiesJanuary 12 20132013-01-12A man stands in profile at right with palms pressed together before his face in a namaskar, eyes closed. He wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl draped over his left shoulder, with a rudraksha mala around his neck and a tilak on his forehead; his hair is tied in a low bun. Behind him a dark stone deity murti with a purple cloth and white flower garlands sits before a yellow backdrop, with a blurred pile of orange marigolds in the foreground. The background figure is a deity murti, not a person.2011-10-12Outdoor photo of a man in saffron-orange dhoti and matching shoulder cloth with an orange-gold sash, bare-chested, with a white tilak on his forehead and long dark hair, standing with palms pressed together in namaste before a black stone deity murti. The murti is a multi-armed female form draped in orange cloth with a green backdrop and white arched frame. In front stands a large pile of red kumkum-coloured offerings on a raised black-and-gold dotted platform, with a small brass lamp and a low wooden stool nearby. Trees and dry leaves surround the shrine, and a red patterned mat lies on the paved floor.2013-03-13A man in profile with eyes closed stands with palms pressed together in anjali mudra near his face, in prayerful devotion. He wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over one shoulder with a gold braided border, multiple gold and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and bracelets, and has long dark hair swept back. Behind him, out of focus, a red-draped deity murti stands before a green arched gateway.2011-12-17February 05 20112011-02-05
