A tall, slender copper-toned flagpole rises against a clear blue sky, its shaft wrapped with twisted bands and topped by a small carved finial with a saffron-orange flag fluttering from it. The pole's base is decorated with garlands of yellow and maroon flowers and carved panels, one showing a tree motif. A lone person in an orange-saffron robe with a dark rudraksha-style mala around the neck stands at the right, both arms raised as they pull on a rope that runs up to the flag. Palm fronds frame the scene at the lower right, and a canopy edge appears at the top of the frame.
