The hand on the right belongs to a figure in a rust-orange robe, with a gold bangle and a red thread wrist band. The hand on the left belongs to a person wearing a dark rudraksha bracelet and a red thread band, offering the petals. Behind them is a red cushioned seat and gold ornamental fabric. The foot belongs to a person wearing a rust-orange cloth, visible at the top right. The tray holds red and yellow roses and white blossoms, with a small ornate gold-toned object placed among them. The silver tray sits on a silver-patterned surface with repoussé floral motifs, consistent with a foot-washing or padapuja offering. Blurred background of muted colours.2018-02-13October 19 20132013-10-19August 04 20142014-08-04Close-up photograph of a padapuja ritual: a pair of bare feet rests on an ornate gold-coloured metal tray with raised floral relief, while two hands, one resting on the tray and one holding a gold-coloured kalasha-style vessel, tend to them. A red and cream patterned cloth lies beneath, on a tan floor. The photo appears to show feet being honoured with ritual washing.2015-09-12Close photograph of a bare foot resting on an ornate silver tray filled with red, yellow and white flowers, including red roses, yellow marigolds and white jasmine. The foot belongs to a person wearing a rust-orange cloth at the ankle, and a small brass or gold vessel stands among the petals. The tray sits on an intricately embossed silver table, with a carved silver pillar at right. This appears to be padapuja, the ritual worship of the feet. No face is visible and no identity is established from appearance, so no a person candidate is recorded.2018-02-13Close-up photo of a pair of bare feet, one resting on a bed of loose flowers in a metal tray during a padapuja-style offering. Red roses, yellow marigolds and white blossoms cover the brass-and-silver plates around the feet. A person wearing an orange garment with a yellow-gold border stands at the left edge. Silver bowls, a small silver cup and green leaves surround the feet on the gold-toned platter. The feet show no visible face or identifying features, and the scene contains a single set of visible feet with the wearer's body only partially in frame.2013-08-04
