A shaved-headed priest stands centre-right in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a long rudraksha mala, a lapel microphone, and a gold bracelet, raising a brass lamp of flame in one hand and holding a bell in the other. Behind him rows of devotees in red and orange sarees and white dhotis stand with palms joined, several holding framed portraits of a woman garlanded with white flowers, and a red-and-gold ceremonial flag hangs at left. This appears to be an aarti during a puja.2013-12-26December 16 20172017-12-16A photograph of an outdoor meditation session on bare ground beside palm trees. A central man with long, swept-back dark hair sits cross-legged on an orange cushion over a woven mat, eyes closed, hands resting in his lap. He wears orange robes draped over one shoulder and a long rudraksha mala, with a red tilak on his forehead. A brass kalasha-style vessel with a handle sits in front of him. Behind him, several other men in orange robes and white dhotis with yellow shawls sit in meditation, and a standing man in white with a yellow shawl stands at the left edge.2010-09-02May 05 20122012-05-05October 02 20142014-10-02May 24 20182018-05-24 +1 copiesMay 13 20152015-05-13Outdoor ritual scene on a paved courtyard in front of a white marble platform. Several seated men in white dhotis with gold borders sit on striped mats with hands folded in namaskar, while women in white saris with gold borders sit further along. A pale orange ceremonial umbrella with a decorative top stands at the right, and a golden trident-like ritual object is visible near the fence. A low brick stack, chain-link fencing and palm trees sit in the background.2015-05-13Outdoor ground-breaking ritual at a dry, reddish-earth site with bare trees behind. A central figure in an orange turban, orange robes, a rudraksha mala and a long white-and-red flower garland holds two yellow fruits aloft while facing a small young sapling planted within a ring of pink petals and yellow marigolds, with bricks set around its base. Several people in white clothing stand nearby, one in a yellow shawl, others with hands folded in prayer, and a woman in a pale sari is visible; a patterned mat lies on the ground. The central figure has long hair and distinctive orange-and-rudraksha ornamentation, a person cue, though appearance is not certain enough to confirm identity. The page places him at a Salem ashram land puja.2010-02-15Outdoor photo on a dirt ground in front of a red-walled building with a green metal roof. A smiling man with long, wavy dark hair wears a sleeveless saffron-orange sannyasi-style wrap and holds a microphone in one hand while extending a white rope with the other. Coiled white rope lies on the ground at his feet. Behind him, a bare-headed man in a white shirt and white dhoti with arms folded stands beside another man in white clothes with a yellow shawl and sash, and a shaved-headed man in white with arms folded stands at the left edge. A motorcycle and a parked vehicle appear in the background, along with a few other people.2010-09-02
