In the foreground a priest with a shaved head sits bare-chested in white dhoti with a gold-bordered shawl, facing a square stone fire pit with a bright flame, and he is seated before a microphone and brass vessels of offerings. Around the pit, seated devotees in white and orange clothes watch, including a man in a saffron-orange shirt, a man in white with a rudraksha mala, and women in saris. Behind them stand stone deity murtis and an orange shrine with marigold garlands. Coconut, pineapple and fruit offerings lie on leaves near the fire, and brass kalasha and ritual vessels sit on the mat.2011-12-12July 18 20152015-07-18 +1 copiesSeptember AFP 2013August 18 20162016-08-18Outdoor homa fire ceremony under a open tent with palm trees and bunting strung with orange and red pennants.
