No people are visible in the scene, and no ritual context is shown beyond the stacked wood itself.

A photograph of a homa fire pit lined with reddish-brown brick and dusted with sand. Inside, a stacked pile of pale, dried wooden sticks and split logs rests on the sand, with several upright sticks leaning among them. No people are visible, so the scene is an empty ritual fire pit with its prepared wood, ready for offerings.

A close overhead view of a square fire pit lined with dark stone or brick, filled with a stack of pale wooden sticks and smaller dark twigs, with a few scattered white granules on top. The pit edges are whitewashed and decorated with fresh flowers in red, yellow and white, and dry grass lies around the rim. No people are visible; this appears to be a prepared homa or yagna fire pit awaiting ignition.

A circular ring of dried cow dung cakes lies on bare reddish-brown earth, with a pale wooden stick or log forming the outer edge between the cakes. A small white rectangular block sits at the centre of the ring. Another similar ring is partly visible at the upper right corner. No people are visible in the scene.

Overhead photo of a homa fire pit built into the floor of a plain concrete hall. White brick walls frame a square of brown earth, with a triangular arrangement of dry wooden sticks and a small grey stone at the centre. Yellow painted lines run along the floor beside it, and a blue cloth lies at the top edge. A brass plate holding yellow flowers, a small white item and a few sticks sits at upper right, with incense sticks lying at the bottom edge. No people are visible.
