The bald man on the right wears white ceremonial garments with maroon borders, a gold necklace and a white cloth draped over one shoulder, holding a rope near the flagstaff. Palm trees stand behind, and a blurred crowd fills the lower edge of the frame. The flagstaff is wrapped with copper bands and has carved wooden supports at its base.
