The seated man is extending his hand as if blessing or transmitting energy, while the recipient keeps his eyes closed. The recipient holds a small printed sheet bearing a figure drawing. Other people in white and orange robes sit and stand in the background, and red drapery and a gilded edge frame the room.2017-10-12July 05 20132013-07-05June 21 20122012-06-21May 24 20132013-05-24A photograph of a ritual blessing inside a temple-like hall with gold-carved panels behind. A bare-chested man with long dreadlocked hair and a white forehead mark, wearing an orange-and-gold shawl and rudraksha beads, reaches out and presses his hand to the head of a seated man in white clothes and an orange scarf printed with script. The seated man holds a folded paper and has a white tilak. Behind them stand a man in white with an orange shawl and rudraksha mala, a woman in white, and a person in white. A white air conditioning unit and red curtains are visible.2017-08-09 +1 copiesA kneeling devotee in white clothes with an orange shawl and rudraksha mala has his forehead touched by a bare-chested ritual officiant with long dreadlocked hair, wearing a brown and gold-bordered dhoti. The officiant's hand rests on the devotee's head while holding a white paper or cloth. Behind them, several people in orange and white robes stand, and a gold-decorated backdrop with a red cushion is visible. The officiant's distinctive long locks, rudraksha beads and gold-bordered dhoti are notable cues.2017-08-09 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated figure in an orange-brown saffron robe and a long beaded rudraksha necklace with ornate gold pendant, long dark hair swept back, placing one hand on the forehead of a man in white clothes with a rudraksha mala. The man has both palms raised in a blessing-receiving gesture. Behind them, a seated man in white with a gold-bordered dhoti and rudraksha beads has a white forehead mark, and standing devotees in white and one woman in orange with gold border watch from the background. A man in a white shirt at right looks on. The appearance of the seated figure with long hair, saffron robe, rudraksha and gold ornaments is consistent with Swamiji (probable), giving a blessing to a devotee in what appears to be a satsang or darshan setting.2013-07-02A photo of a satsang-style blessing. A man in an orange draped cloth with a rudraksha mala and beaded waist belt, with a white tilak on his forehead and hair in a topknot, places his right palm on the forehead of a young man in a white t-shirt wearing a long rudraksha mala with a green thread. The blessed man has his hands raised and eyes closed. The blessing giver holds a folded white paper in his left hand. Behind them, a seated bald man in orange sits, and another man in white is partly visible at the right edge. A red cushion and yellow cloth appear at the bottom. Whether the blessing giver is a person is not established by appearance alone.2012-10-11
