A man in a white dhoti with a sandalwood-marked forehead sits behind them, and orange-robed attendees and white-clad devotees stand in the background of a hall with a red curtain and a fan. The seated figure appears to give blessing or initiation, and the scene looks like a satsang or darshan.2013-07-04July 14 20132013-07-14February 27 20132013-02-27A seated figure with long dark hair, wearing a rust-brown wrap over the shoulder and a necklace of large green-yellow beads and an orange-red garland, reaches out to touch the forehead of a standing older man with short grey hair. The older man wears a white shirt and a rudraksha mala with an orange cord, and holds his hands together in respect. Behind them a seated man in white and other people in white or saffron clothing watch, with a fan and a curtain in the background. The seated figure's cues are distinctive, so this is a person in person, performing a blessing on a devotee.2013-05-12February 25 20132013-02-25A seated man in a rust-red saffron-toned garment with an orange-beaded mala and a gold-toned necklace places his right hand on the forehead of an older, grey-haired Western man in a white shirt who bows with palms pressed together. The blessed man wears a lanyard-style badge. Behind them a seated monk in red robes with a red bindi and a rudraksha-style mala waits, and several people in white clothes stand in the background near a window. The white forehead marking on the standing man matches the blessing gesture. Pale pink walls and a red cushioned seat complete the room.2013-03-24A long-haired figure in a draped orange-saffron cloth and a multi-strand rudraksha mala places one hand on the forehead of a man in a white collared shirt and a beaded mala with a red cord. The seated figure's shoulder is bare beneath the wrap. Behind them, a second man in an orange-and-white outfit sits, and women in white and orange saris stand in a bright hall with blurred red and white decorations.2013-07-07A photograph of a satsang-style blessing. A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a saffron-orange wrap, with rudraksha malas around his neck, leans forward and touches the forehead of an older bald man in a white shirt and rudraksha mala. The older man raises both hands overhead, palms open. Behind them, a seated man in white and an orange-robed figure are visible, with red curtains and small lamps in the background.2013-07-05
