October 18 20152015-10-18Close view of a ritual offering on a silver tray: a conical mound of white flower garlands and marigolds with a golden ornamental form at its front, scattered petals and yellow marigolds around it. A flame burns at the top of the arrangement, and a hand holding a small silver cup enters from the left edge. Silver vessels and more flower offerings sit on a metal table behind.2015-10-18A ritual puja setup on a white marble floor in front of a gilded ornate throne decorated with garlands of white and red flowers and a green cloth backdrop. Silver plates and bowls hold yellow marigold petals, a basket and plate of red rose petals, folded saffron and brown cloth, a silver incense holder with lit sticks, a small silver kalasha with a spout, and a stone pedestal with yellow flowers. At the right edge, a seated man in white dhoti with saffron shawl and a pink cloth behind him performs the ritual. The scene looks like a ritual offering arrangement before a deity murti or peetha, with garlands draped over the seat.2015-10-18October 18 20152015-10-18July 13 20152015-07-13 +1 copiesMay 24 20182018-05-24 +1 copiesMay 24 20182018-05-24Close-up photograph of a brass ritual tray decorated with a ring of orange roses and yellow marigold petals. At the centre are white frangipani-style flowers, a red rose and a pink rose. A small brass cup with a red stone sits to the right, and a brass spouted vessel rests at the lower edge. No people are visible; the arrangement appears to be a puja or abhishekam floral offering.2013-11-03A photo of a padapuja-style offering: a figure in orange cloth sits on a gold-framed seat with red and white flower garlands draped over the orange garment. In the foreground, a silver tray holds red roses, white jasmine-type flowers, green leaves and gold-coloured fruit or bead-like offerings, beside a lit silver oil lamp with a flame. Two hands in white or cream sleeves hold a small silver vessel and reach toward the tray. Only hands and partial limbs of people are visible. The scene is set on a red cloth with a gold chair in the background.2009-12-08July 07 20092009-07-07A close photograph of a ceremonial kalasha-like object draped in a purple silk cloth with a yellow flower garland encircling it, decorated with gold-toned jewelled ornaments, pearl strands and a mango-leaf and coconut-like top. Beside it on a silver plate sits a heap of pink and white flower garlands with gold-coloured beads. Behind them stand polished silver figurines and a silver pedestal with gemstone inlays, on a striped woven cloth in red, green, purple and yellow.
