A photograph of an indoor ritual setting with a large golden throne backed by ornate gold carving. On the throne sits a life-size cardboard cutout of a bearded figure wearing a saffron robe, a tall orange headdress, gold necklaces and bracelets, shown with hand raised in blessing. The cutout is a depiction, not a physical person. At left, a young woman in orange sits with palms joined in prayer, wearing a rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark. At right, an older woman in a rust-coloured sari and beaded necklace sits beside a silver bowl of yellow rice offering. Behind them, women in cream and yellow saris stand and sit near steel vessels, and a banana-leaf plate of food is set on the floor in front.2019-01-01 +1 copiesJuly 26 20142014-07-26 +1 copiesSeptember 21 20162016-09-21January 01 20192019-01-01Three women sit on a colourful striped mat during a ritual preparation of cooked yellow rice. Tripods and cables are visible.2019-01-01A seated man in an orange saffron dhoti-style garment with a draped orange shawl sits on a red velvet chair with a gold-trimmed footrest, reaching into a stainless steel tray of yellow rice. Multiple white and pearl beaded necklaces and armbands are visible, along with a gold waist belt. Behind him a woman in a white sari with a red shawl holds a tray. Other women in red-bordered white attire sit at round tables draped in white cloths, hands pressed in prayer, while a golden deity murti sits in the lower foreground.
