A bare forearm wears a red thread bracelet and a braided bracelet of yellow, white and dark strands. At the left edge a carved or painted wooden figure's head with dark wavy hair and a pale face is partly visible beside pink flower garlands. Blurred seated figures in white and maroon fill the background.2016-09-27September 27 20162016-09-27Close side view of a man in an orange-brown robe seated at a satsang, holding a long orange strip of paper printed with repeating Tamil script. He wears a pink and white flower garland, a red and multicoloured beaded bracelet, and has a dark beard. Behind him, a woman in a green and red sari sits blurred, and white-clad figures stand in the background. A gold-coloured object is visible at the bottom edge.2016-09-27September 27 20162016-09-27Close photo of a ritual in progress. On the left, a bare-chested figure with long dark hair and a beard wears a thick garland of red roses, white flowers and green leaves, plus gold earrings, gold armlets and bangles. A man in a white shirt with an orange lanyard and rudraksha mala leans in from the right, holding an orange towel, while another person's hands rest in the foreground. Behind them, rows of brass lamps or kalasha-style vessels glow with small flames, and an orange cloth printed with script drapes the seated figure's lap. Watermarked copyright text overlays the lower right.2016-10-11Close-up photograph of a hand gripping a length of saffron-orange cloth printed with black Devanagari/Bengali-style script in repeating lines and diamond separators. The hand, wearing a red thread band and several bangles, belongs to a person whose forearm is in the foreground; a white flower garland is visible at the lower left. The background is softly blurred, showing seated and standing people in red, maroon and green clothing, consistent with a satsang or ritual gathering. No clearly identifiable a person is visible.2016-09-27A seated man in saffron-orange robes, wearing a white-and-red chandan mark on the forehead, a white floral garland with red flower accents, and a gold-chain necklace, is wrapping a red-and-orange cloth around the head of a woman in a red sari with a dark rudraksha-style mala. Probable Swamiji (appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha and gold ornaments, seated in a plush brown throne-style chair) is performing the cloth-wrapping blessing. Nearby, a woman in a bright yellow blouse leans in and an older man in a light blue shirt with a bead necklace and name badge watches. Behind them, several people in white and red-shawl attire stand in a hall.2015-07-11Close-up photograph of hands during a ritual exchange in orange and red saffron-toned clothing. In the foreground, a person's hand wearing a thick, multi-strand rudraksha bracelet with gold beads and a blue-and-purple thread holds a small red-orange cloth bundle tied with string. Another hand with a silver bangle reaches in from the upper left, and a red-orange garment sleeve and fabric fill the frame. The dark wooden surface of a chair arm is visible at the right. Details suggest a personal blessing or ceremonial handover of a sacred object rather than a formal stage event.2015-07-12July 30 20172017-07-30October 11 20162016-10-11A ceremonial event in a banquet hall with red walls and tall decorated pillars in orange, green and red. In the foreground, a figure in a red-brown turban and bare-shouldered red-brown garment wears a dense rudraksha mala and gold necklace and bangles, reaching forward to take an orange shawl and white garland from a bald priest in a saffron-orange garment. Behind them, two shaved-headed men in brown and orange robes with rudraksha malas stand in the centre. On the right, a bearded man with long dark hair and red-rimmed glasses wears an orange robe and white jasmine garland; a grey-bearded man in an orange shawl sits at the lower right. Seated devotees fill the background, with orange and white floral garlands and flower petals in the foreground.2015-10-18
