An elderly bearded man with white vertical tilaka on his forehead, bare-chested, wearing a white dhoti-style cloth over his shoulder with a magenta border, rudraksha mala and a gold pendant, raises a gold ceremonial chain with an ornate pendant overhead with both arms. Behind him a gilded arched shrine frame with a pink backdrop holds deity murtis draped in garlands of red, orange and white flowers. A second man in an orange hat and flower garlands stands beside him, with a shirtless attendant in the background at right, and an air conditioning unit sits against the wall.2013-07-18A temple ritual scene in which a priest with bare upper body, a yellow dhoti and white sacred markings stands at left, extending his hand to scatter flower petals or garlands toward seated figures. Three large murti-style figures are seated on gilded thrones, adorned with heavy garlands of orange, yellow, red and white flowers, crowns and ornate jewellery; one figure wears a gold crown and a yellow garment. In front, a man wearing a green turban-style cap, white garland of flowers and a white dhoti sits on a low gold seat, with a pink shawl draped over one shoulder. At right, another seated man in a green cloth cap and white garland with a sacred mark on his forehead sits near the thrones. On the left a man in white dhoti with a red-and-white garland holds his hands together, and on the right a man in white dhoti and an orange headwrap with a garland folds his hands in prayer. Brass bowls, scattered red petals, a lit oil lamp and a banana leaf lie on the floor, with a red patterned rug and maroon curtain behind.2015-01-09March 27 20162016-03-27A man in a flowing saffron-orange robe holds a lit flame or oil lamp toward a large garlanded deity murti in a temple room. He has long, dark, swept-back hair and white markings on his arms, and holds a small hand bell in his other hand. Behind him stands a second person in orange, and a seated man in orange with a bead necklace sits at the left edge. The deity wears a crown and is decorated with thick garlands in green, yellow, red and white. A gold peetha/throne with a red velvet seat and a decorative white-fringed umbrella stand nearby, along with a framed portrait on the altar. The priest at left, wearing a green embroidered turban, has his head bowed while another priest in a gold-coloured turban raises flower garlands toward the deities.
