Yellow turmeric or kumkum powder is dabbed on top of the lingam and on the base, and a white bead garland is wrapped around its middle. A small magenta flower sits at the bottom edge and a yellow thread lies at the left. The background is blurred with dry brown earth and green foliage. No people are visible.2014-08-24A dark stone Shiva lingam on a black stone yoni pedestal is wrapped in an orange cloth with a gold zari border, draped over the top and sides. A green leaf rests on the top of the lingam. Small scattered offerings lie on the concrete floor around the base. No people are visible. The lingam is a deity murti, not a person.2013-04-29A dark grey stone Shiva lingam stands on a yoni-shaped pedestal on a tiled floor. Faint reddish-orange markings streak the lingam's shaft, and scattered pink flower petals lie near the base. Behind it, silver metal trim and a brown-orange cloth are visible. No people are present. The lingam appears to be a deity murti in a temple setting.2013-10-05December 16 20102010-12-16An outdoor photograph of a weathered grey stone Shivalinga set in a concrete yoni-shaped base on a worn paved ground. A dark cylindrical lingam stands in the centre, with a metal trident-shaped face or mukha ornament mounted behind it against a wall of stone blocks and a tree trunk. Dry grass and dirt surround the base, with a dim night-time setting. No people are visible.2007-04-20July 10 20082008-07-10October 01 20062006-10-01
