August 17 20122012-08-17Outdoor festival scene of a dense crowd of devotees in white and orange clothing celebrating together. In the centre, a young woman in a red top and orange skirt with a gold headband raises her arms and claps, surrounded by women in white saris with orange shawls and men in white shirts and orange sashes. Many people clap, raise hands and smile, and a concrete wall with hanging strings of flowers stands behind them.2007-12-27Outdoor celebration on bare earth where a central figure in a saffron-orange robe, wearing a white and red flower garland and a red tilak on the forehead, stands smiling with hands pressed together while a ring of women in white and red-bordered saris and orange shawls dance and clap around them. A man in orange robes with a gold pendant stands to the left, and a woman in the foreground lifts a small camera. A tall gold ceremonial staff stands at right. Many young women with long braids and dark hair surround the circle, some in white and others in red.2008-01-01Outdoor photo at a temple-like stone wall during a welcome. A man with long dark hair, white vibhuti stripes on his forehead, and an orange saffron shawl over orange clothing wears large layered garlands of yellow, white, red and purple flowers. He smiles and is being greeted as a bare-chested man in white dhoti reaches toward him with hands raised. Behind them, devotees in white kurtas, white dhotis and orange and yellow saris stand with palms joined, and a cameraman stands at upper right. The main figure is described with a person cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial garlands, so his identity is uncertain.2010-01-08December 27 20072007-12-27June 05 20122012-06-05July 07 20092009-07-07 +1 copiesJanuary 01 20082008-01-01July 13 20092009-07-13Outdoor photo at a temple courtyard with stone pillars and a gopuram-style structure at left. A central figure with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over the body and a long ornate garland of beads and flowers around the neck; he has a red bindi and is stepping forward with hands near his waist, with devotees pressing close. Nearby, a man in an orange robe with a red-bead rudraksha mala holds a mobile phone, and several shaved-headed men in white dhotis and white shirts with sacred threads stand around. A man in a blue striped shirt presses his palms together at lower left, and a man with a thick moustache in a white shirt stands at left. Stone steps and a dark stone wall with metal railings form the background. Many people are visible, mostly partially cropped at the edges.2011-09-26May 08 20122012-05-08 +1 copiesAugust 07 20172017-08-07
