In front, a round golden tray holds many silver bowls of fruit, flowers and sweets with red blossoms. Around it sit several women in orange and saffron clothing with rudraksha malas; one man in a white kurta and glasses sits near the centre, and a woman in white with beads sits behind him. The setting is a dark room with a carved wooden door on the right.2013-08-19A photograph of a ritual offering on a gold-carved wooden platform before a tiger-striped backdrop. A pair of bare feet in orange-and-gold cloth rests on the platform's edge at top. Around a round tray are many small silver bowls of pink and red powders, rose petals, and a flower arrangement. A young man in white with rudraksha beads and white forehead markings holds a small cup. A woman in orange with white forehead marks and a bangle dips into a bowl, and another woman in orange holds a small bowl of yellow liquid. A child with white markings on the arms reaches toward the tray. Dried fruit and sweets are arranged among the bowls. The setting appears to be an ashram puja.2013-08-13A photograph of a padapuja ceremony in a hall with an ornate gold throne. Seated on the floor before the throne, a man in white with a red shawl and a woman in white with a white forehead mark face the seated figure; several women in saffron and green saris with forehead marks and rudraksha malas serve from brass trays of flower petals, pink blossoms and oil lamps. A brass hanging lamp and bell hang behind the throne beside a dark panelled wall and a wooden door. The scene reads as a devotional offering or puja, and the seated man's appearance matches the page's claim of Swamiji's presence, with his long hair, gold ornaments, rudraksha and saffron-tone clothing, though the image is not conclusive.2013-07-02A seated man in an ornate gold and red throne is dressed in orange robes, with a bare upper body, long orange-beaded rudraksha mala necklaces, gold necklace and orange-and-gold armbands; he wears a tilak on his forehead and long swept-back hair. Seated before him on the floor, devotees in patterned clothes hold brass plates; a gold tray holds small brass bowls, red flower petals and offerings, with a lit oil lamp behind the throne. Several devotees sit on mats in a room with a dark wall, a bright studio light, and a maroon curtain at right. The seated figure has distinctive long hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha malas consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji (probable), seated in the role of teacher receiving reverence.2013-02-01 +1 copiesMay 19 20132013-05-19February 02 20132013-02-02
